interior plastic repair?

looking for the the write up where the 1st gen runner owner reconditioned his interior plastic to look like new. i searched with no results

I think thats the one you are looking for. I couldn't find that paint, so I used rustoleum hammered finish in charcoal. turned out pretty good.





Its hard to see bc of the glare, but if I turn off the flash, every pic is blurry and my camera is old and I am unable to adjust the shutter speed, but you get the point.

I washed my panels with soap and water, scupped with a high number sandpaper (300+) wiped it down with acetone and a rag, and painted with the rustoleum hammered. Fairly painless, unless you breathe too many fumes!!

You can also find that article in the "how to" or "tech writeup" sections. Its still holding up like new 6 months later.
