1997 4-Runner w/ v-6. 301200 miles. This is my general use car. Commuting, camping, etc.
Still runs very good. Just changed a starter yesterday. The alternator gave out back in 2007. Maybe I should think about changing out the fuel pump next. Uses very little oil. It drops about 3-5 mm on the dipstick during 10,000 miles. I use Mobil-1. This Toyota has been great for me.

I'm a little concerned about all of these <200k trucks (specifically the 22re) that are rebuilt. I'm planning to switch from my current nissan frontier (with 180k) to a 22re 4x4 with <100k. I've gotten 220k out of my pathfinder 3.0 and 180k from my frontier 3.3 without any more than a starter and brake pads. Are these 4bangers abused or should I reasonably expect 250k with proper maintenance?

I know the pickups you can expect much more then 200k miles out of them. I'm seeing the rebuilt 22REs in the 4Runners mostly. I wonder if this is just because they're heavier?

200000 as of a few minutes ago on my 92 Runner

Put some techron in her to get the injector's clean, had a hollowed out cat going ot the dynomax catback and just put a test pipe in place of the hollowed out cat, made a hella difference.

Took the pin stripe off yesterday to celebrate, hated that thing. Just discovered upper front passenger side ball joint is bad, so I'll be doing the spacers and new ball joints instead of the Bodylift first like I was planning. She's getting the TLC she deserves, Seafoamed a few weeks ago and will be getting a snorkel soon as well
