Unhappy High idle , acceleration loss and gas mileage dropped

Hi , I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra crewman TRD off road. One day it all of a sudden developed a idle remaining high from the moment I started it up. It has never returned back to normal. At the same time I experienced a hesitation on acceleration. Total loss of pick up . The RPM's surge and acceleration does not follow. Feels and sounds like it's like roaming or not catching on or something. At this time my gas mileage decreased drastically , like it wasn't bad enough to start with. But I signed up for that with her lol. Also , no engine light.
Please help any suggestions.

I'm not familiar with your 2016 Tundra, but a friend of mine
has a 2014 and had similar problem.

He disconnected his negitive battery cable for about ten minutes
to re-set the ECU and it solved his idle issue.

Bear in mind any settings that you have done, radio stations, seat memory (if applicable) or any other bells and whistles
will probably have to be set by you again.

Like dropzone said, use your warranty, that's what it's for. Before it expires take it in and document ANY complaints you have (rattles/noise/vibration etc.)

Thank you everyone. I am gonna take it to the dealer. Also, is anyone have a bed cover and that they particularly love ? I would like to get one. Pros and cons welcome appreciated.
Thanks
Heather

I've only used one bed cover, a Tonneau tri-fold on a Silverado. I thought it was a smart design and if I had a pickup I'd get another one just like it.
