help with mpg.....
so I got my 91 up and going. its a 22re 5spd, had 265s 75 16s on some aftermarket wheels, truck is stock as a rock except the converter has been removed and a glasspack muffle the o2 sensor is in the pipe.
so outher day I filled it up, (keep in mind gas hand dont work) drove it for 153 miles and ran out of gas today. seems to be like that is very hard on gas. i'v been driveing this thing like a grand pa.
So today I took off my pretty tires/wheels and put the allmost slicks on it that it came with and canged the plugs/wires. It does run somewhat better now new plugs/wires are in it.
So is that about normal millage or is something bad wrong? I was really hopeing to get pretty decent millage out of this truck seeing as it's my daily..

it is really hard to make a call about mileage.
What type of driving ?? Big city crawl 20 miles at speeds below 5 mph??
traffic light drag racing between 20 or 30 lights every day??
up and down hills ??
How much weight in the truck when I got rid of the 400 pound girl friend the mileage really increased and the truck didn`t hang to the right.
