Help me out fellas! Rear disc conversion
So i ordered calipers and rotors from an '83. But i never ordered any brackets.
I do although have a bunch of 1/4 plate laying around so i will be making my own.
I need somebody with the $30 brackets to take some measurements. Mainly just the top 4 bolt holes and the spacing for them. Itll help me a bunch with the guessing-and-checking in making these.
Also, do yall think the 3rd mounting hole is really necessary?

I actually can make and take measurements quite well, as well as transferring basic measurements onto materials without errors.
I really would like to know the distance between the top 2 axle tube holes and the caliper bolt holes. I cant take a measurement off of something that doesnt exist.
Theres got to be someone on this forum that has those brackets laying around.
Dont make me go talk to those jerks on pirate.

I get what your asking but think your asking wrong. As is, it sounds like your asking for help bootlegging someone else's design. This was a topic of hot discussion recently regarding a front bumper. Where a guy took "measurements" then recreated the bumper, so pirated/copied the design.
So an easy method of getting the measurement. Would be to go to the bone yard. Measure caliper stance in relation to rotor. Mock up on your rig. The difference of the mocked up caliper in relation on rotor to axle would give you the requested distance without hurting feelings.
