Check out these seat covers. I saw them in an email from costco. My father in law has a 98 tacoma with a pretty big tear in the drivers seat. I've been thinking about the wet okole seat covers and these seem similar and 100 dollars cheaper. Any thoughts? Would a seat cover even help his seat last longer?

Also I live where it's 110+ degrees in the summer. How hot does neoprene get compared to just cloth? Thanks.

 

ran a set on my 87 runner buckets, got new seats and sold the covers to a buddy. Took 5 years of hard wear before they finally got a hole in them. Heat is not too bad for the neoprine but it does insullate and gets warm if your sitting in them for a while. Worth the money imo
