I'm trying to get my new leaf springs into place and it's not being an easy task so far. I've been having a REALLY hard time, 1st getting my hanger pin through the bushings and now that I am ALMOST through the spring and bushings, getting the threaded part of the pin to line up properly WITHOUT destroying the threads. I've already had the pins remachined once because I mashed them all up taking them out. I've lubed the hell out of them with soap and hammer blows do nothing now to advance the pin. Is there a way to support the spring so it doesn't move while I try and hammer the pin through? Anyone got some Jedi mind tricks on this one? Thanks!!!
