Not heavy, just well designed placement of structural tubing.

Save your money and zip tie the grille, they aren't heavy enough to need anything else. My grill is all zip ties because the nutsert/clip things were either gone or broken, not a problem.

I'd like to think my bumper will take on both a Deer and a Pathfinder without issue!

But I'd rather not find out.

I hit a deer doing between 65 and 70 in my 86 Mustang. I was going like 85 or90 in the hill country at night and when I finally seen him coming i stood on the brakes and ducked behind the wheel. I just caught him on the right side so all it did was smash my bumper cover, headlights, and crumple the fender. Oh and the core support was a little tweaked. Oh and sice i just got him in the a@#, his head slung around and broke his antlers of on my fender. I went back the next day and got the antlers.

there is.. if u know your going to hit it.. your going to hit it.. standing on the stoppers is actually the last thing you wana do.. more so in a car... it drops the hood down and make it more likely for it to go through the windshield and kill you... not so much in trucks.. but a rule of thumb if you know for sure your going to hit is to jam on the gas.. it lifts the front up and makes it more likely is going to hit and go under the car.. i know theres tons of variables. like if your on ice and what not..

That's very true about standing on the gas, not the brake. You have to remember that most of us are driving underpowered Toyota trucks, so there really isn't a lot of "going up with the front." But most of us are high enough to go over most of it anyway. Horses, Elk and Moose scare me more. Their that much higher to begin with.

time for a 1/4" steel bemper. a good solid block of it so it could put any nissan in it's place.
