Hey everyone, I’m in the middle of planning a swap for my 2012 Avalon and came across a 2GRFE for sale that seems like a steal. It’s a Toyota Avalon 3.5L 2GRFE engine supposedly pulled from a low-mileage car, with a 90-day warranty included. I know the 2GR-FE is a solid engine, but I’ve never bought a used one before. What should I be looking out for when checking it over? Compression test enough, or should I dig deeper? Would love to hear from anyone who’s been down this road!
