fuel buster, do they work

recently ive seen all these ads about a magnetic thing that goes around the fuel lines and supposedly clears the fuel lines and makes you get better gas mileage i dont know if it really works or if it is just a stoopid little thing to suck money out of people. so if any of you know or have had any experiences with this i would like to know.

Two points...

1. Car manufacturers spend millions of dollars trying to make their rigs run cleaner and more efficiently, so they can comply with government regulations and use their success as a selling point. If it were that easy, there would be magnets around the fuel lines on every new car sold.

2. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Does a magnet have chemical potential energy?

I have my doubts about those "inventions" like the fuel atomizer and the "Tornado"

I think they are both just hype.
