Frame care

I was wondering if anyone has used that rust bullet to coat their 4runners frame and crossmembers and such and if so, how much did it take? At $30 a pint, I'd like to buy no more than needed (or at least not much more) and I definitly dont want to run short. How easy was it to apply? Does it take long? How much prep work did you do, or how much is necessary? Thanks!
