Got some tire size info.

Dueller A/T (I have these in a 31x10.50 15 today)

Diameter Revs per Mile Section Width
31 x 10.50 30.6" 681 10.9"
32 x 11.50 31.8" 655 11.9"
33 x 12.50 32.6" 639 13.0"

Dunlop Radial Rover RXVT

Diameter Revs per Mile Section Width
31 x 10.50 30.4" 719 10.9"
32 x 11.50 31.4" 696 11.6"
33 x 10.50 32.3" 676 10.5"
33 x 12.50 32.3" 676 12.7"

BFG A/T KO

31 x 10.50 30.7" 677 10.5"
32 x 11.50 31.7" 655 11.4"
33 x 10.50 32.7" 636 10.6"
33 x 12.50 32.7" 636 12.4"

So, it seems that a 32x11.50 RXVT would barely change the gearing at all while a 33x10x10.50 or 12.50 would have a big impact in a BFG but seemingly very little in an RXVT.

I need to see 33x 10.50's on my truck ..anyone got some good 33x 10.50 pics ??

Thanks

David

Ummmm .. those revs per mile numbers for the Dunlops can't be right. I calculated it up assuming the tire is a perfect circle, and get 617 rev/mile for the Bridgestone and BFG and 624 for the Dunlop.

I have the RVXT, and they were fine with 4.56. Keggo has the same tires. Search around for some of our threads and you'll find pix.

Thanks tc,

I agree, either the diameters or the revs must be off, they cannot both be right. I do think they may have some idea of the true revs per mile as I am sure tire pressures, loading etc, tire expansion etc have an impact on rolling diamater.

Thanks for pic links.

Yeah, I'll try to get some pics tomorrow of the tires on my truck. I have them on 3.75" Backspaced wheels. I love the Dunlops! Glass smooth ride!

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately, Ins co totalled it this morning.

$4850 repairs after the unisured driver with suspended license hit me head on.
