So i have all the parts. 4.88's front and rear, ARB's front and rear, compressor, everything. I was planning on pulling the 3rd's myself and taking them in and also installing all the air lines, compressor and electrical myself. However, i have changed my mind. I am going on a snowboard/snowmobile trip to Colorado for a week, the first week of Feb. I am just going to drop the truck off just before i leave and then pick it up with everything done when i return home. This way there will be no down time for me. So i sent out an email and got a quote. 1100 bucks for everything. Sounded like a lot at first, but when i broke it down, it seemed pretty reasonable. Would you agree?

 

It just depends on what it is worth to you.

I paid $300 to have both of my diffs done (bench install of gears and ARBs) and then did the rest myself and saved $800.

You are paying out the yang for labor cause it takes a lot of time to do all that, but other than the gear/locker install, none of it is hard.

 

I took my thirds in and paid $400 ($200/axle).

Getting the chunk and third out is quite a bit of work - you're gonna pay.

 

Yeah, i know i could save mad money by doing the majority of it myself, which i can easily do. But its more of a time thing. It would be much nicer to leave on vacation for a week and then when i return it is all done. Ya know? So like i asked, is 1100 reasonable for it all to be done?

 

for the amount of work they're going to do and at shop labor prices, I'd say yes, $1100 seems reasonable. I pulled my 3rds and took them in
