Door Panels

Do second or third gen Pickup/Runner interior door panels fit a First gen? They look awfully similar besides extending right down to the botton where as on a first gen there was carpet panels at the bottom but ive never seen them side by side. My first gen panels are toast and I havnt come across any stock blue or black panels in decent shape.

If not how about custom door panels? Any one got an easy solution that doesn't look like crap? Im not that great with upholstery but I have a couple sq. meters of foam backed blue vinyl(marine) I want to mount my 4" Speakers in the door aswell. Diamond plate is out of the question, I have enough of that crap on my truck as it is, I want my interior to be half decent.

Or if someone could measure their 2nd/3rd gen panels and the approx. locations of the door handle and lock that would be great... Im sure there are other people interested in this too.

I had same problem with my 81s panels. Luckily we have a local junkyard with tons of 1st gen yotas sittin. Ill measure my buddys 84 tommorow and post em for you, if no one else has. By the way, I got 2 81 panels that are tan I picked up as extras, I might part with.

Thanks,

Id take up the offer on the tan panels but my interior is blue, Seems tan was a popular interior color here because thats all I can seem to find.

I have had good luck in the past with Vinyl die. You can get it at some places like Autozone or upholstery shops...
