Dented driveshaft
I recently purchased this truck and didn't notice the driveshaft had an issue until I got it home.
During the test drive, the gear shifter was vibrating a lot.
I drove it home which was about 2.5 hours on the highway.
I plan on taking it to a shop that specializes in balancing to see what they can do for me.
Only 91,000 miles on it.
What do you think?

yes it will work as long as the length is the same.
all you said is that you have a regular cab, you didn't mention if it was a long bed ......
you should change the u joints on your donor shaft..$30 and 30 minutes for piece of mind

Having trouble changing these U Joints. First time doing this.
These had the inside C clips and I removed those but I cannot budge it after hammering on there with a socket. Is there a trick to get these out? I looked up some youtube videos and they all had similar methods.

Cap not coming out. Used a punch from the inside to push it out and it was A LOT of force. Youtube videos made it look so easy.
Cap will not come out. Ended up using a punch and hit with a hammer from inside to get it out.
I damaged the yolk on both sides trying to get the cap out. There is a sliver of metal that came off when pushing the joint. Hopefully it can be filed and won't cause any problems? Sort of on the outside edge is where the damage happened.
