dent removal costs

I was thinking about getting some of the bigger dents removed from my truck. The dents aren't big, but they are deep.

What prices can I expect when I take the car to a body shop to have them remove the dents? In my area, I can't really call around to other shops, as there's only one or two here that I'd trust my truck with.

If you trust yourself, you could DIY

If I were you I would just call those 2 places you trust and ask for a quote..

One rubber mallet and a good sized 4x4 wood block can take most simple dents out fairly decently not body shop quality but it suffices provided there are no kinks. Pics of dents would help in pricing.

I'd get pictures, but I don't know where our camera is (we just moved) and the truck is now in a parking garage with bad lighting. The dent I'm worried about is pretty deep, about half an inch in and about the size of a fist. Looks like the previous owner went off road and needed some armor. It's definitely going to need some rivets welded on and have the dent tugged out. the paint there is already gone and collecting rust.

I'm a DIY guy, but living in an apartment now I'm unable to buy the tools to do the job. So taking it to the shop is a must, and ozzies (local shop here I trust) has an appointment to look at it in a week. They're busy. :-)

Depends on how big they are but you could give the dry ice trick a shot...
