I've had my 79 for less then a year now, BTW it's my first 4x4. It's been virtually problem free for me until about a month ago. I started hearing a small noise from the front left. It started happening while decelerating and was most noticeable rolling to a stop in neutral. It slowly has gotten worse and worse and now is pretty much constant and I can hear/feel it even on the freeway.

This is my daily driver and is currently my only transportation to work(18 miles each way.) I'm still driving it even though I know it desperately needs repair. Any and all help/suggestions are very much appreciated.

On my truck, the right front bearing nut came loose causing some weird front end problems, i figured this out one day by grabbing the top of my tire and shaking it back and forth. easier way to check would be to jack up the front and check. your wheel bearings prob just need to be replaced(worn or dry), its cheap and not that hard
