MaK- did you have to remove the bumper to remove the skid to change your oil?
Also, I know you had a TJM and i've got an ARB but was there any way of bolting the skid OVER the bumper? It looks like I can with the ARB, maybe. Can anyone confirm that? I emailed Bud regarding it but I figured another answer is never a bad thing.

but i had a Fumoto oil drain valve on my 4Runner. it took a good 30 minutes for the oil to drain out, because of how it was routed. but wasn't a big deal and it was mess free.
The easiest way to do this is to simply holesaw a 1" hole in the skid plate below the drain plug. that way with the fumoto drain valve, its just a straight drop into whatever you're draining the oil into. get it done a helluva lot faster.

I'll have to look at the filter again but did you use a filter re-locator like previously mentioned or did you find another way to remove it?
And yes, I know he sold his rig many months ago, notice the use of past-tense words...
