I kinda like the brown, black, and beige one. The very last one is OK. I tend to like the not so busy camo jobs. The 2nd one from bottom is pushing it for me.

Nice tacos though.

Does anyone know an online shop that supplies military CARC paint? I was thinking about going an OD or Forest green myself.

LineXing the bottom half was my next priority, but perhaps a camo job first. Doesn't seem hard at all, just needs lots of downtime.
Careful though, Mike about killed his lungs doing all the painting, cuz ya gotta have it in a sealed garage for like a month.

This one...

Is TacodDab's (dean). Dean had the camo before Mike and then Mike did his. I think I like Mike's patern a little better (A littler bigger less busy) but both of these guys are for sure why I want snow camo on my 4runner!

Wasn't that because he pulled a boner and didn't cover his face with anything for the first couple of sprays?

Decals Decals Decals

I think I came up with the solution to this Camo Job.

Some of you may remember that My buddy, who's the president of my 4x4 club, also owns a decal and graphics shop. Ive talked in the past about re-decaling (
(sp?) my truck.

So what if I paint the truck back to this. Of course the grey will be paint not primer.

and than get him the use vinly decals for the white and black camo spots !

Im waiting to hear back from him

The cool thing would be to use the decals as the masking, then use paint to actually do the truck - that would allow you to do some really intricate things like logos, etc.

I'd just be concerned about the vinyl getting torn up on the trail, then looking like crap...Of course, it would be easy to fix, just pull that piece off and put on a new one.

Does he have flat/matte vinyl? Shiny will look dorky IMHO

He can print and cut full digital. so whatever color/colors I'd want. I agree flat or matte would be best. Vinyl is pretty durable and easy enough to fix.

Oh man I'm getting all excited.....

Now the question is Do I Camo the Checkerpate ? Bumpers and Sliders ? Or leave them black ?

Vinyl camo?
Yuck.

Take the time to do it with paint, you'll be glad you did.
Leave the aforementioned items black. Camo would be overkill.

leave the bumpers/armor black.

as for the vinyl camo... i like tc's idea of using vinyl as the masks/patterns, but i think it would be much better to have everything painted. that said, you could save a lot of money by just using masking tape to mask off the pattern...

They also have these products that I think look pretty good LINK They have camo window film too. I've seen several trucks with this stuff and it looks pretty good. Better than any rattle can job i've seen. Although that one taco looks pretty good.

The red camo on here looks pretty cool too. What about red since your truck is already red.
