Between the 2 listed tires, what is the best for SAND?

Alright, my 95 4runner has Bridgestone Dueler A/T revos. My 85 4runner has BFG All Terrain T/A KOs. Both sets are 31x10.50R15

So between those two tires and those two only, which is better in sand such as pismo beach? I'm taking the 85 4runner and i'm wondering if i should swap the 95's tires on there for the trip.

Please vote or just post, thanks!

I voted for bfg's. For no other reason than they are a tried and true great tire.

My dad and I took a trip down to Matagorda Island last spring which is nothing but super soft sand. He swore by the 32" Revos on his '87 in sand until he drove my Runner on 32" BFG's. I wheel in mostly sand since I live only 15 minutes away from PINS and the only other tires that I would possibly run would be the Yoko A/T and M/T, and Nitto Tera and Dune Graplers. My buddy has the Dune graplers on his Taco and those things are amazing in sand...

Slosurfer how do you like the Claws in sand?

I really didn't like them, they seemed to just dig in, rather than get you out on top. They were okay, I guess.

I don't think there would be enough difference to justify swapping wheels. Both should do pretty well.
