Front differential bearings
OK new problem. Upon inspection I found the passenger side flange for the CV on the front differential to have some wobble to it. I suspect as I read on Erik's differential page, which I'm sure many people here have seen before, that the needle bearing is craping out on me.
What I'm wondering is has anyone replaced this bearing without removing the diff from their truck? I'm kinda time-limited and would like to take care of this before it gets damaged more.

I don't know your vehicle but I would have the alignment checked. While on the rack they should check for tie rod inner play.
have the ball joints checked over-they can fail and that would be catastrophic at the wrong speeds.

I think I found the problem.
I just got done replacing the ty old CV axles with some nice new ones, and Found the bolt flange on the passenger side of the differential to be less-than-solid. I can make it move around. I think the bearing has the bed. This sucks.
