Aux. lights for an inbetween mod?
Thought about doing a filler mod inbetween other mods.
I'm kind of in a debate to get some fog lights (like the ones that came on certain 4runners 96-98) or getting a set of hella's and mounting them on my bumper. Which would you guys do? or would you do both?
I'm kind of leaning towards the fog light look.

ORW, or Off Road Warehouse, out of San Diego has Hella 500 driving lights for $49.99 internet only. If you search in the yotatech market place, hot deals there's a link that'll go right to them. Good Luck

Well if you have the bumper that suppurst them it will have a mounting hole in it for the stock style fog lights but they are so $$$$ then i would say just get some other ones and rig them in. They are easy to mount just drill a hole, insert light and bolt from other side (well some just screw directly in with the smaller lights...)

For one reason or another the wiring of the lights are kind of scaring me away at the moment.
Maybe, I'll just wait until next year to see if I have a different bumper by then and tackle it then. I don't know
I need to think a bit more on this.

Why would the wiring scar you? that is easy with just basic wiring skills. And if you get an offical hella 500 kit it comes will and the relays and even the wire you can wire it up with. Although upgrading to 14+ guage wire would be a great thing.

i was wondering the same thing but saw another yotatecher and tnttora member (crolison) with the hella 500's on his runner and that is what i have decided to do. plus for 50 bucks for a quality light set you cant go wrong
