Auto/Manual Conversion

My first post on Yota Tech, will need to cross post my build thread from marlin eventually but have a question that I cant seem to find an answer for without randomly ordering parts and seeing what I get.

I have an 84' pickup that was rolled in 85' and has been sitting ever since until I got my hands on it a few years back. Bought an 88' regular cab for it but the cab was an automatic so I had to cut a hole in the floor board.

Now my question is what exactly do I need to complete the two stick coming through the floor board? The 84' interior was stripped minus the dash so there was nothing I could scavenge.

I have two rubber boots but what else do I need? I believe there is a metal retainer that sandwiches the boot to the floor but can I still buy this retainer somewhere or is it junkyard only? Also what type of hardware do I need? Also, once all that is done does the carpet just neatly cover it all or can I still find a nice center console piece to cover it all?
