ahh, the compression creates the ignition so yes you do need ignition.

I checked the website and one thing I really do find interesting is they claim it doesn't change the octane rating. This is different than pretty much everyother fuel additive and upper cylinder luber i.e. Lucas.
I'm willing to try this stuff as well, there seems to be a local distributor near by and I'm a sucker for additives with a good reputation.

ahh...negative sky captain..compression in Diesel's causes Combustion..which i guess could be described the same way as ignition..
if you were too give a gas motor enough compression..then it would ignite because of the great pressure

*EDIT* pretty sure that combustion and ignition are the same thing...if we're leaving spark plugs outta the picture..lol
