Ok, I have this ford mustang cobra, its a 97 with a 4.6L 32v motor, it have a really bad vavle tap, I was wondering how to fix it, Im guessing I have to adjust the vavlve hieght, and what do I have to adjust it to, if you can help me out that would be great.

Are you sure that is what it is? I had a 99 Cobra and never had a problem out of them. Are you running premium? Does it sound like pinging or injectors firing? They are sort of noisy motors. But if you want some decent tech go to modulardepot.com or svtperformance.com . Both of those sites have tons of info and I guarrantee you won't have to do anything but search!
Good luck. Love Cobras.

You have a lifter problem most like likely or the cam follower spit out. Are you known to rev the piss out of it? If so high rpms make the valves float and it will cause the follower to spit out. If I remember correctly, all you have to do to change a lifter or follower is take the valve cover off and use a special tool to push the valve spring down to get the follower out.
