$50.00 Paint Job (pirated from Pirate)

Heres a cool paint job on a budget idea for anyone who's intrested. Heres the original thread from another website, http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/...0&fpart=1&vc=1 and the thread going on over at Pirate, http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=476749

Not bad for a trail rig, or someone just wanting to try things out. I'm tempted to test this on one of my grandpa's 4 junkers then attack my truck since my paints chipping.

I don't know, even the close ups of the charger he did look awesome! That's kind of what I have planned for my 85, but I was thinking I'd use this stuff from POR 15 . I doubt I can thin it down that far though, hmmmm.

I was going to post it up too. I told a neighbor about it who is about to paint a car. Hopefully he will at least try it and we can both see how good it is first hand. Looks pretty bad ass, makes me want to paint mine - just cause.

that stuff works very well. i did the manual locking hub covers in the hammered grey, then scrape off the paint on the letters, then clearcoat, and it looks awesome! been on the rig 6 months now through many carwashes, some mud, uv rays, and no problems at all. ill see if i can find a pic, im having problems with my digicam.
