4x4 low issues?

4x4 low issues?
I did search for this but came up with very little, any way I have a 95 4runner with the 3.0 and it is a bear to get it into 4 low, some times I have to park on a hill and let it rool backwards other times it takes forever and alot of finagling, any ideas?

Sounds seminormal to me. Does it have a body lift? Fresh fluids never hurt.

Is this a auto or manual??
I have a 92 and some older ones all manual transmissions no problems just goes right in low range .
Now getting it out of low range sometimes I need to back up.
