I have a 22re that has some iffy factory injectors. Since some of the injectors off to get serviced is not an option for me finding good quality new factory injectors is so difficult. I was wondering are there any other vehicles that have the same injector with a similar flow rate. I had seen something about a Toyota Camry that had four hole injectors that were 30 or 40 cc higher than the factory injectors on the 22RE but I can't seem to find that thread anymore. As a side note I can also plan on using whatever 4 hole injectors that are recommended for a different 22RE supercharger build

 

You’re right—finding good new factory injectors for the 22RE is tough. Some Toyota Camry and Corolla injectors (like from the 90s 5SFE engine) have a similar flow rate and use a four-hole design, which can improve atomization. If you’re planning a supercharger build, slightly higher flow injectors might help, but be sure to match them with the right tuning. Have you checked if anyone has tested 5SFE injectors on a 22RE successfully?

 

No I haven't, but I will look into that right now.
