my distributor was stuck in cylinder head due to corrosion i did get the distributor out but the housing broke right at where the o ring goes. i cleaned it up moved sleeve bearing towards housing inserted into housing there is enough lip to fit into the distributor hole into head. my gut tells me that it would still work i wouldn't be thinking of trying this but strapped for cash at the moment any thought ought there sorry for the crappy picture
