I can still save this thread, you can do a 4wd system like the subarus, they have a front transaxle I think, adn you just have a long driveshaft from that, using a custom differential...then again you can just buy a subaru too, 300hp is a lot better than 270!!

Just gives an excuse to do an SAS using heavy springs. You'd probably need to to clear the pan anyways.

You'd probably need to build a 700lb flatbed to keep the truck quasi-balanced. But at least you got the power to keep it moving!

speaking of the transaxle and long rear shaft, that's exactly what we're doing to my friend's 99 cabrio.
