Lightbulb Wiring turn signals into parking lights

Ok so I got in an accident and it caused me to have to relocate my turn signal(s). At first I tonight I could just see it to my parking lights. The hazard fuse kept popping under the hood though. So upon some research I found out that they perking light is a 7 watt filament and the turn signals are a 25 watt filament. So it wouldn't work. Then i read about all the 80's vehicles have a rear turn light assembly that usually take the 1157LL bulb with both the filaments handy.
. So the white/ black wire us ground. The green/ brown is hot. Test the connector to fund out What wire triggers what filament. connect the turn hot yo the 25 watt and the parking to the 7 watt. Viola.
. I used a drill to alter the corning light assembly so the connector would clamp down.
