Idle problems

This is the part of the throttle body im talking about. Has anyone tried to mess with the adjustment? I decided to mess with this today and i removed that needle looking small rod in the middle behind that center part thats located under it. I had to adjust it 3 times now. When i first tried it it idled at 1500 so i removed it again and turned it 2 rounds and it went down to 1200 so i did it again and got it down to 1100 so i will remove it 1 more time and turn it 1 more round and see what rpm.
Ok I have a 94 Toyota pickup 3.0 and my idle started give me problems. On most days idle is good around 900 and 1000 or alittle above when using ac which I'm good with. The thing is after driving for a bit and then I park it for alittle and then go to start up and leave the idle is at 500 or alittle lower to where it would die after a few seconds. I know it's not idle screw because I keep adjusting. After I'm done adjusting it and it idles good again at 900 I drive for a bit and then idle goes really high almost to 1500. I've taken out the throttle body and cleaned it really good even the coolant passages that run under it and it still does it. I notice that there is a mechanical thing that is controlled by the coolant when heated but I've never messed with that before nor have I heard of anyone adjusting it. I'm guessing it adjusts when it hits a certain temp but not sure. Anyone ever have this problem? Any info would be great and I'd really be appreciated for the Info. TPS is on point and so is idle screw and idle stop screw even the plunger screw. Pls need info.

Idle fixed

Ok so after messing with that area in picture I finally got my idle to stay at 1000 and with no fluctuation or check engine light. Every thing is good to where I like it. Took me 4 tries to get it to where I want it and I couldn't be happier.

Is their a procedure for that?
I believe all that does is raise idle when cold, should be a coolant hose going to it. Never heard or have seen a adjustment for it.
1000 idle is not right.
Your idle should be 800/850
What manual are you using?
Sounds like you just masked a problem.

Idle fixed

I know that 800 to 900 is the right idle. The thing is that I found that that coolant passage that goes under throttle body is BADLY clogged and have no way of cleaning it out. I've tried all kinds of cleaners and still nothing. This truck has been sitting for over 5 years before I got it and I've flushed and changed alot of parts to get it running good. For now I'm good with the 1000rpm idle. I am currently looking for a good throttle body but for now I'm good. I have yet to try acid to clean the coolant passage.
