I literally only have driveway shots of my current 4runner... so here's my favorite photo of my old one Browns Camp, on Can Opener before it was rebuilt.

Mark Twain National Forrest outside of Pineville Missouri. My son's first time 4 wheeling. Cant see him due to the reflection of the glass but he is grinning ear to ear. Just behind the curve is a steep hill that has a big drop off. Nerve wracking for me but a great time for him. 85 Extra Cab.

Here is Blue, my progress in work, my "gem" that supposedly just needed an engine... Here it is in the Arizona desert on it's first trip prospecting... Everything went well and the grandsons loved the four wheeling part of the trip! Yea, I forgot to take a picture of us in the river bed...

The Office

I've been living out of this rig in the Chihuahuan Desert of southern New Mexico while working my way through grad school in biology. With 388,000 miles, it's starting to show its age so I'm starting what will be a lengthy rebuilding project. Just had the transmission rebuilt and clutch replaced. About to redo the front end with a new steering rack, lower ball joints, and Icon uniball upper control arms and extended travel shocks, as well as a long-overdue diff drop kit. A dual-battery setup with isolator and solar charger will get installed after the front end is done. I have a replacement engine with just 100k miles waiting on a stand for when the current one wears out, but I figure the current one still has one or two more timing belt changes to go. Looking into custom bumpers, sliders, and skid plates as well. The Flip Pac camper has been great, but if money allows I'll eventually replace it with a Tacoma Habitat from AT Overland Equipment. I took this picture while taking a break from my research at a camp/mobile office in the Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument.
