will 5in hd sas kit clear 38s

will 5in hd sas kit clear 38s-yota.jpghere is my 92 toy with ifs and 38x15 boggers and just picked up a straight axle so ive been looking around and some people say that a 5 inch hd kit would clear these tires and some say it might not so i would have to use chevy 8 in springs so i was wondering if anybody on here has a similar setup even though this site is mostly rock crawling and i stay in florida where its mostly mudding.

You will be able to clear 38's no problem. If you were to be flexing out like crazy on rocks and stuff like all the rock crawler guys you might have to trim some fenders but if you're mudding you will be fine

Thanks a lot. I didn't want to buy the kit and then not be able to use the springs so it would have been a waste.

a 3" kit could clear 38s with some tasteful cutting

What lift do you have and how good did your ifs hold up to the 38s?

4 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift, chevy springs on rear, ifs is decent until u lock front end and thats why i want to go to straight axle, if you just want to run an open dif then you prolly would be fine,
