Will 31 inch tires fit on my 84 pickup?

Will 31 inch tires fit on my 84 pickup?
I have an 84 Toyota pickup 4wd and I have the stock size 225/75 R15 tires on it right now, and I was wondering if 31x10.5 R15 tires will fit on my truck. My truck is completely stock. I read on another post here that bigger tires will make the vehicle drive very slow. Is that true?

yes they should fit no problemo depending on how flat your front leafs are.
no they won't technically make your rig any slower, since you could eventually get to freeway speeds even if you put 40" tires on
what it will do is tax the engine more and the truck will struggle slightly more with the increased diameter and weight.
pretty much every question you could ever have regarding your truck has been brought up at some point in time over the past 30yrs, this is why we have a search button as well as google :p good luck!
