I am putting at bigger tire 265/70R6 to 265/75R16 to my Toyota 4 Runner 2000. But it is too big to put in the front. Now I have to lift in front of the truck up at least 2 " to able to put the 265/75R16.

I already bought 2" "Day Start" space for the front and now I am looking to buy
- "Bilstein" shock for the front
and
- 2" "OME" coil for the back.

Anyone can recommend where do I get the parts and anyone can recommend the shop to get these work done install? I live in the Bay area and can drive anywhere around here if the work quality is good. I want to get it done before I off on slide hill and mud road this X'Mas.

Try looking for the parts you need at Marlin Crawler or Trail Gear, once you get everything you need for the lift check out Big O Tires or Midas, they both do suspension work and should be able to install the parts for you.

 

toytech.com has everything u will need. marlin and trail gear dont specialize in 96+ toyota lifts like toytech

 

I would stay away from the Daystar spacers lifts. They will ruin and sag your stock springs and you'll be feeling every bump in the road. Your 2.5" lift will sag within months and every time you go wheeling and flex your suspension it will sag even more and faster. Your 2.5" front lift will be a 1-1.5" lift by summer.

Look at my sig, I just bought all new coils and shocks because my Daystar lift is almost no lift at all anymore. Get your $$ back if you can and do it right the 1st time. New front coils won't be much more $$ anyways (like $170 from toytec.com for the pair).

Shouldn't 265/75/16 fit under a stock setup? No use spending money to lift if you don't need to.

 

True, I know 265/75s didn't rub on my '97 before I lifted it.

oh... lift kits... well i wouldn't know because my 4runner gets around just fine with out a lift... but i do have a horrible case of ass-sag in the rear... i want to level it out. i figured i could just get new rear springs and call it good.

 

If you have the time and space I would recommend tackling this job on your own

 

First, price out some lift kids, it may be better to have them do it.

Try using TRDparts4U.com got new spring (front and Rear) and N91SC struts for 548 shipped and that is to my APO address in Germany.

 

I thought it did when I bought all the 4 tires to change. But the surprise came when the 2 front tire won't fit. That is why I am asking what best way to do it and who should do this job.
