Wheel Finishes
YotaTech,
While this is more for aesthetics than anything else I'm just curious. I have a few sets of wheels some painted some in the middle and one or two in stock condition.
Question #1. How the heck can I go from a painted wheel to stock. Stock is defined as some polished and some painted. Like the LX450 wheel pictured below. How do you paint the little parts whether it be in a LX or FZJ80 wheel?

My LX450 wheels came highly corroded and required a great deal of prep work.

I was toying with getting them back to stock the next time I need tires but am just not sure.
Question #2 To just polish them I could sand em down polish polish polish and a little more polish for good measure using nothing but sand and or emory cloth. Right?
Question #3 Painting and using a clear coat, I've painted countless sets of wheels with rattle can and never had luck using a rattle can clear coat. The next time around I will be shooting the wheels with automotive paint and then clearing them hopefully. But do I need to? I painted my bumpers and have applied no clear just a bit more hardner in my paint mix.

Thank you in advance
Aaron
