I have a 97 tacoma 2wd no sr5 or prerunner w/ a 3" body lift.

I might be getting new tires soon and i was wondering what size i can fit without having to modify anything in the fenders. I have 30" tires on right now.

 

31's? Donno man, with that you gotta just look and see how much more clearence you have.

 

well how much clearance should i leave before its to little??

and another question i think i know the answer but if i get 1 inch bigger and go to 31" tires then technically it would add a half inch on all sides of the tires right??

 

Question is, are you gonna wheel this? I assume you aren't and it's just for a little better look? I think 31s wouldn't do so well for you. Maybe 30x9.50? you can get BFG A/T and alot of others in that size. Show us some pics. that might help.
