what size tires 33" or 35"???

i have a 1991 toyota pickup v6 3.0l with a 5 speed manual trans,3" body lift and 1.5" bj spacers and blocks.Im currently finishing installing 4.88 gears i got from the jy.i did search on here and generally every one is saying 4.88 with 33" tires but i live in the pa mountains and i go up this steep hill to work and with bald 33' tires it is at like 3500 in 3rd or lugging in 4th.im just looking for some opinions to whether i should let it sit at 3500 everyday when i go up the hill or should i move to 35" tires to bring the rpms down in 3rd?

get rid of the body lift, and it'll look fine with the 33. I have 4.88s on 33s and it still has issues going up hill, just not as much as it was with 4.30s. so with 35s, its a no brainer.

the only reason i am even debating it is because i ran it up the same hill with the same tires and 4.10 gears and it went up better although i was in 3rd gear seems 4th and 5th are more like overdrive gears

yeah. it'll climb. but you were probably revving the crap out of it in 3rd gear.

no more than 3k,ill probably go with 33"s hopefully the rpms will drop a little in 3rd once i get new tires or ill just have to slow down on that hill.I did notice on the highway i was running 3k at appr.70-75mph but my speedo may be off

Do 35s!! With your amount of lift you could fit them. I got new 33s and recently installed v6 4.88s and now my 33s look puney . Id imagine with 4:88s & 35s it will feel alot like my 4.10s & 33s did. My rpms are alot higher with the new gears, now, i kinda liked the lower rpms of the old ones. The only advantage I feel is a lower 1st gear.
