Pick any mud tire, and don't ever rotate them. Give it about 10k miles or so, and once they get wicked chopped and then cupped they'll be plenty loud

^^^^ cupped boggers on about 15 psi in the front will put a normal person in the looney bin within a matter of minutes!

the loudest tire I have ever herd are boggers. but its a good pitch, no too annoying. dirt grips have to be the worst sounding tire I have ever heard.

So let me get this straight.

You want to buy tires not for their performance, or cost-to-life ratio, but you want to buy them for how loud they are? That is the deciding factor?

Because they sound "cool" when they go WAH WAH WAH??!?!!?

Save yourself some money and buy useful tires, not dudebro tires.

i want good tires to. i wont buy them if they suck offroad. plus most good mud tires are loud becuase of the big lugs and large spacing inbetween them wich allows them to self clean. and i wont buy them if they'll only last 10k miles. just want to know what some loud tires are cause i like the way it sounds.

Get some tires like mine if you have a Les Schwab Tire Center there.
Mine are the Dick Cepek MountainCats.

Mud tire, they wear like iron, and they are nice and loud with a low hum I can hear over my Magnaflow muffler.

Mud tires=Loud

Mud tires=Fast wearing

Fast wearing=Expensive

The basic formular goes like this: The larger the lugs and gaps, the louder the tire. Loudness does NOT equal performance.

Just because a tire "sounds cool" or "looks cool" means nothing. If you are looking for performance parts, you have to step beyond the realm of high school and review the facts and points. Not just coolness factor.

are you for real? maybe you could attach a clothespin somewhere near your tires so it can hold a playing card against your lugs to make more noise---kinda like how you'd put one on a bicycle to make it sound like a "motorcycle" hahaha

cause loud tires are awesome. lol jk i went with swampers cause my truck see's alot of mud and clay during hunting season. the loud hum is cool at low speeds but doing 60 or 70 it does get kinda annoying with the windows down or up for that matter.

Well this thread just went to crap.

Highonpottery is not being a dick, Why do you want a loud tire? Ok, you like the sound, but Im sure at 15 years old, you arent paying for a damn thing on your truck and I can guarantee your mommy and daddy aren't gonna be buying you tires every 10-15k.

You stated above that good mud tires are loud? Have you researched at all? think crap over, you're 15. You're not building a wheeler like most of the older members, you're building a DD that you can go to school and work with. Why in the hell would you want to DD swampers? for the sound? riiiight...

Why not get some BFG KM2s or Firestone Destination MTs? both very good mud terrain tires, both have a slight hum, and both get roughly 30k+ miles if well taken care of.

Since you didn't do any research yourself, Im going to do it for you... maybe you should start here.

http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT.../tire-tech.htm

Select a tire on the left, it gives reviews based on 1-5 Stars in the reviews it includes Price, longevity, and how well they do in sand, dirt, mud, rocks, trail and snow. It also bases the review off price, and oh wait! your favorite...! wait for it.... sound... Read the website, understand and then come back and post please.

my parents arent going to pay for parts that go on my truck. my mom hates me wanting to lift my truck and going offroad. and i didnt say ALL loud tires are good in the mud, just some of them. yes it is a DD and i will be using it for those purposes, but i dont want the typical tire that everybody gets that muds, thats why i wated ya'lls suggestions. and i was just asking for suggestions on tires, if you think thats what i should do i will look it over. i didnt do alot of research just a little bit to see what was on the market. i looked at the website ad it will help me choose and see more tires that are on the market.

when i had a hi-flow cat and straight pipes on my truck all you heard was the exhaust not my swampers. the exhaust tone was way louder than the wah-wah-wah of the swampers. lol so if you have straights chances are you wont hear your tires
