what kind of axles for a solid axle swap?

i just picked up a 92 toyota ex cab 4x4 truck from a friend for $100. it has a 4" ifs lift but the whole front ifs is really damaged. balljoints, tierods, pitman arm, a-arm drop bracket, and crossmembers are all damaged. i wanted to do a SAS but what kind of axles do i get? what year, etc? my friend has axles from an 84 toyota 4x4, will that work for the front? i want to make this truck strictly for off roading. any suggestions? thanks

I was thinking about same thing. Old pickups are almost impossible to find around here, but I can find a lot of older land cruisers with SFA-will they fit??

most FJ axles aren't really worth swapping. the earlier ones had really bad birfields and drum brakes. also, the rear end is offset like the front. FJ40s and 60s used a 8.75" axle front and rear, basically an old 3rd member style chevy 12 bolt(toyota bought the rights to the 235 inline 6, 3 speed tranny, and 12 bolt axle from chevy in the late 50s and used them in cruisers), while it has a bigger ring gear the pinion is notoriously weak.
