I have a 22re in the old 88 4runner and am wondering what this box is suppose to be or be doing?


Here is the box

On right side of vehicle

 

Add on cruise control? Where do the wires go? Some add on cruise modules also have vacuum lines going to them to a ball unit?

Obviously I’m guessing but any weird big box people question usually ends up being an add on cruise thingy
