Very strange but specific 95 4runner ignition issue
Today i was running simple errands, my v6, 5 speed, 95 4runner started up just fine, ran well everything seemed as normal, got in to turn it over, it clicked and nothing else happened, after a little clutch in and out and ignition turning, dash lights came back on and started up, same thing happened at the next stop, finally at the gas station, it would not start, strangely, when i put my ignition in the off position(resting position) the radio would try to eject a non-exsistant tape, except when i pressed on the brake! also, when the door was open and keys in the same position the door would alarm very weakly until i either pressed the brake or pushed the cig lighter all the way in! weird, i ended up taking one lead off the battery, therefore resetting the electrical components and it started just fine, twice now...ever heard of weird stuff like this? wiring harness maybe, improper grounding? fried computer? suggestions and similar war stories appreciated!

Loose battery terminals or just worn out under sized cables.
Could be where the grounds are connected.
Maybe even how the vehicle was sitting caused things to flex and not make a good electrical connection.
