I have an 89 3.0 pickup, sometimes it likes to die right after I start it and then it wont start back up. If I pull the top of the airbox off and keep it open, it will start and run for a little while then die, and if I put the top of the airbox back on it dies. If I leave it alone for a day or so and then go back and try to start it it will usually start up but not always. I had someone tell me its either a vacuum leak or the airflow sensor. Any ideas?
