tundra motor swap 2002 motor into an 03 big problems

hey guys been a while since ive been on here and have been searching all around.

although i have no concrete answers on anything.

not to long ago my 03 tundra 2wd ac stepside threw a rod due to the oil sending unit suddenly going out.

So after some searching i figured no big deal, and swapped a 02 motor into my 03. For about a week the dang thing ran perfect. Then the problems began.

Now in order to get her to even attempt to start I have to push the pedal when it should be just the opposite.

ive thrown all types of codes and have tried so many things and trouble shooting.

so far ive had no luck at all. I recently was told that the big difference in the 02 and 03 tundra is the ecu was different they switched from a 16 to a 32 bit system. I have searched and searched with no answer to this question. DOES ANYONE KNOW?

I went ahead and ordered a used ecu bc I found it at a good price and it will be here probably wednesday but was just looking for any other or more answers.

Thank you
