trans/shifter spring help

im doing a clutch swap and when i was cleaning the dry gunk out of the bottom of the inner bell housing i found this spring, im assuming its from the shifter assembly or fork/throwout bearing, but i never saw it till then and it was not caked with gunk and kind of on top of the scrapings. its holding up reassembly please help...i looked for it in toyota parts http://www.villagetoyotaparts.com/sh...ifter%20spring but could find nothing. so, does anyone know where it might have come from? its about an inch and a half and tapers in on both ends...thank you in advance

I think That is one of the torque supression springs from the clutchdisk.

I have had several of those and the rubber versions some of the other mfg use all chewed up in my bellhousing.
Im actually amazed its in that good shape.
