Quick question!
I'm guessing that my tps might be going out. The reason I'm guessing is because I havent tested it yet.
But my question is......why does the idle go up and down when I first start my Four Runner but gets better as the Runner warms up??
The idle at first will be at around 1200 and go back down to 1000 and back and forth. When it finally warms up after I have drove for about 10 miles or so it will come down to 800 to 900 rpms but will still kinda jump around in that area. Could it be something else??
I'm still learning about the 3VZE motor. Yes thats right. 3VZE! Please dont hate. But I must say this! I have pulled this motor out and rebuilt the whole thing and the only problem I have had so far is the idle problem. I thank everybody here at yotatech for all the great info and help through out this rebuild.
Other than that I am newbie to the off roading scene. I only have 304 miles on the new motor and I'm looking to get at least 1000 on there before I hit the dirt and hills.
