Torsion Bar Lift

Ive heard that you can use the torsion bars to lift your truck but I have no idea how. Please help.

89 4runner 22r 4cylinder 5speed all stock

You can but it will result in no travel and or crappy stiff ride, search the subject and you will find everything you need to know

find your torsion bar mounts under the truck.
soak them with penetrating oil two or three times a day, repeat two or three days.
measure top of tire to bottom of fender.
loosen locknut if you have them.
tighten torsion bar holder bolt while holding the nut, raise truck about an inch.
keep them even on both sides.

mine rode better, but i added weight with my motor swap as well as gaining more up travel with the tb adjustment. they settle with age and miles.
