Tire PSI

Ive been inflating my near stock size tires to 32 psi like I have done on every vehicle Ive owned. Just took a quick look to what the door panel sticker says and it calls for 26psi on the front and 34 on the rear. Is there a reason why Toyota wants the front tires so low? If im not off road all the time is it alright if I keep them at 32 or 34 psi?

Truck is a 90' 22re 4runner. Tire size is 235 75 15.

I have no idea but I am curious as well. My 1987 2WD Pickup says 29 psi for the front and 35 psi in the rear.

Usually I have the front at around 29-30 psi and the rear at around 32 psi.

It is a recommended pressure

I run 45 psi in the rear and 32 psi in the front.
