My A/T TEMP light seems to come on when I hit a bump, and other times when driving through water. I live in New Orleans, so I do both often.

I have checked the fluid in transmission and transfer case. I added fluid to the fill hole in the transfer case yesterday, but the light still came on a couple of times on a total drive of 2 miles from cold start. Neither fluid smells burned. I had the transmission and transfer case fluids changed in late 2005, after driving in flooded conditions.

I was unable to find a loose wire/connection around the transmission/transfer, but wasn't sure where the sensors should be. I've checked manuals, FAQs, etc.
